Hello! I’m Charissa Lee! I’m a wife, a mom and a huge believer that a Dr Pepper can fix anything! I’ve been married to my High School sweetheart for 4 years now and we have the most perfect little girl named Charlee! Most days you can find me hanging out in my pajamas and playing with my little girl. But on the weekends you can find me camera in hand celebrating life and love as I capture the most amazing moments for my brides and clients. I’ve been a photographer for 3 years now and although my sweet brides are literally my favorite people in the world I have a sweet spot for adorable families and squishy little babies.
I don’t have a lot of pictures of my husband and I while we were dating and so ever since then I have been making up for it. Every camping trip, family vacation, or even walk around the block you better believe that even if it is just a selfie on our phone’s it is being fully documented. Even though most days I know it drives my husband crazy I’m so grateful that I have all of these little moments to look back on. And even more I love that I get to call doing that my job.
After my daughter was born in March of this year I have found myself constantly amazed at how quickly life flies by. Every moment in life is so fleeting and deserves to be captured. I already look back on images of my sweet daughter as a newborn and am amazed that it was only 10 months ago we were welcoming her into the world. And that’s where my perspective changed. That is where I fell even more in love with this idea of capturing a memory for you to have forever. And I’m not just talking about the posed, perfect moments. I’m talking about the ones that are raw, real and when you see them they just tug on your heartstrings. Because I believe that those inbetween moments may just be the most important of all. So if it’s been a while since you have been in front of the camera or you realize that your life has already changed so much since the last time you took pictures, reach out now and let’s chat about how we can capture those real moments for you to look back on when life seems to be moving just a little too fast.
